IATA Class 6.2 Infectious Substance Shipping Training (online)

Note: there are four modules, each with a short quiz. Upon completion of each module, you will be able to print a certificate to keep as proof of training.

 

Module Descriptions:

 

2009 IATA Class 6.2 Infectious Shipping Training: INTRODUCTION

·         Required for all shippers of packages containing dry ice and/or biological substances.  This course provides the user with the regulatory background and will provide information so the user can properly classify and identify materials for shipment.

 

2009 IATA Class 6.2 Infectious Shipping Training: Category B, Biological Substances

·         This module is for individuals who have completed the Introduction and already know or have identified the material for shipment as a Category B, Biological Substance.

 

2009 IATA Class 6.2 Infectious Shipping Training: Category A, Infectious Substances

·         This module is for individuals who have completed the Introduction,  Category B, Biological Substances and already know or have identified the material for shipment as a Category A, Infectious Substance.

 

2009 Dry Ice Training

·         For shippers of packages containing dry ice.

 

 

Log into Continuous Professional Development, select Compliance Training, then Biosafety Training.

 

Classroom training can also be provided, upon request.
