Orientation Program

At least four times a year a day-long program is offered to orient new researchers to conducting research at the University of Cincinnati.

Program announcements: Approximately 60 days ahead of each event an announcement with the details, such as time, location and registration instructions and deadline, is distributed via an email distribution list. Target audience: Newly hired research coordinators and nurses.

Learning objectives: Review of the fundamentals of clinical research (clinical development, ethical concerns, UC’s IRB processes, funding, study management, regulatory documents, and subject coordination).

Registration: There is no fee for this program, but you must pre-register for planning purposes (limited seating availability). The registration deadline will be included in each event’s announcement.
