Animal Use

The University of Cincinnati is committed to ensuring the welfare of animals used in research. Federal regulations require that an independent Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) be established to review research proposals where research is conducted using animals. The IACUC Office provides guidance to researchers and supports the IACUC committee.  The IACUC site contains information on the IACUC Committee, Protocol instructions, forms, orientation and training, policies, regulations, and FAQs.
