Biosafety
The University of Cincinnati is committed to ensuring compliance with institutional requirements and federal, state and local regulations pertaining to the possession, use, transfer, and disposal of biohazardous agents. Federal regulations require that an independent Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) review research proposals that include biohazardous agents. The Biosafety Office provides guidance to researchers and supports the IBC committee. The Biosafety site contains: information on the IBC Committee, protocol instructions, forms, training information, policies, regulations, and FAQs.
